Time Trials

Driving events sponsored by the Las Vegas Region Porsche Club of America include Autocross, Driver Education, and Time Trials that include highly qualified instruction for driving competently at speed on a real Racetrack. These events are designed to give you increased enjoyment from your Porsche and allow you to safely discover the full on-track potential and high speed capabilities of your Porsche thereby allowing you to experience everything your car has to offer. A Time Trial is defined as a continuous lap driving event. This applies to practice and timed runs. Passing is to be permitted only as allowed by the event chairman. Time trials are the next step after Drivers Ed and Autocross on your way to Club Racing. Please see the PCA Zone 8 Time Trial Rules

Time trialing has all the excitement of on-track competition without the anxiety of wheel-to-wheel action. Time trials count towards club race license requirements. For upcoming driving events see the Events Calendar, the Zone 8 Events Calendar and the National Calendar. You can also subscribe to the Zone 8 Calendar to receive event information by email.

Although it is recommended that everyone participates in Drivers Ed first, most drivers with experience on the racetrack will find that they can start with Time Trials and then move right into Club Racing. If you are a Porsche owner, the first step of course is to become a PCA Member.
