Saturday, February 13, 2010 - 11:00 AM - February cruise of 2010 to Lake Mead -
We’ll be driving through the stunning Lake Mead Recreational Park via Boulder City. Please remember the $5 fee to enter the park.
The route through the park will take us 75 miles along fabulous vistas on smooth, twisty and picturesque roads to the Redstone
Overlook where we will stop to take in the views and pose for some photos. We will end the tour at beautiful Lake Las Vegas Resort
for a late lunch. Meet at Cars and Coffee Las Vegas, 9300 S Eastern Avenue for some fellowship.
Then we will depart from Cars and Coffee at 11:00 for the drive. See The Flyer.

The Grand Prix Region and Zone 8 presents PCA Drivers Education Instructor Training at
Streets of Willow on Monday, February 22nd.

Sat-Sunday, February 27-28, 2010 Las Vegas PCA "DE" Drivers Ed Track Event at
Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch.
This is our first Open Track Event of 2010.
For beginners we offer a car control clinic which includes braking and skid pad exercises,
along with classroom instruction. Beginners also receive one-on-one instruction on the race track from our cadre of certified Instructors
throughout the weekend.
For the more advanced drivers, we offer 3 different run groups, based on experience, to maximize both safety and track time
(30 minute sessions). The track opens at 7:00am, and the mandatory Driver's Meeting is at 8:15am. The cost is only $325.00
for 2 days or $200.00 for 1 day. Save $25.00 off the "on-site" registration when you register on-line at our webstore.
All makes and models of cars are welcome. If you have never been on a racetrack before, this is your opportunity.
We offer comprehensive high speed driving instruction by certified instructors at a bargain price.
Technical Inspection at the track is designed to capture only the obvious visible problems. The real responsibility lies
with the owner's prep and evaluation. Don't bring your car if it isn't safe! We highly recommend that you have your
car inspected at Carl's Place,
Premier Sportscar Service,
Renegade Hybrids,
Norm Baker or another service facility prior to the
event and avoid the early morning tech line. If you are interested in working as an Instructor, please contact
Tony Zito at (702) 521-9966. Lap timing is available with transponders for rent at $30/day.
Type SA2000 or SA2005 Helmets are required. Motorcycle helmets (M Type) are not allowed.

This is our second Open Track Event of 2010.

The Testosterone Millie – A drive for real Porschephiles - Friday-Sunday, April 23-25th, 2010.
The Las Vegas Region of the Porsche Club of America is pleased to announce its inaugural Testosterone Millie Event.
Based on the world famous “Mille Miglia” tour, this three day odyssey will be filled with glorious roads, succulent food,
