Saturday, May 10, 2008 - 9:00 AM - The Members Breakfast - has been moved to May 10th because of the track event.
We will be having breakfast at the
Rio Secco Golf Course located at 2851 Grand Hills Dr.
in Henderson (702) 777-2400. Come out and join the club for great food at this beautiful location at a cost of $15.00 per person.
From 215 go south on Eastern past St. Rose toward Anthem. At the fork, keep right on Eastern to Grand Hills Ave. Turn right
on Grand Hills to The Rio Secco Country Club. There will be parking on the left.
All members, friends, and other Porsche owners are welcome to attend this informal social event.
After breakfast you may wish to join us for an impromptu drive.

Saturday - May 17, 2008 - 8:00 AM - North Las Vegas Show -
North Las Vegas has invited us to enter our "classic cars" in the auto show portion of their "Taste & Tunes Festival"
on Saturday May 17th at North Las Vegas City Hall Campus, 2200 Civic Center Blvd. Entry is $20, and you must
send a photo along with your entry. Cars must arrive no later than 9:30AM and stay until 6:30PM with "NO EXCEPTIONS!"

May 24-25, 2008 - Gasoline Alley's Ninth Annual Birthday Bash - Event kickoff party is Saturday, May 24th, from 4:00pm to 10:00pm at
The Cannery Casino and Hotel and includes a car show, live bands, dedicated parking, vendors, and drawings.
Sunday, May 25th, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, we line up on the grass at Eldorado Park. As always, this event is open to all vehicles.
Register by May 10th for only $30.00, $35.00 thereafter or at the door. All registered vehicles quality for a very special drawing
Sunday afternoon, must be present to win. Registration includes great goodie bag, event T-shirt, drink koozie, and dash plaque.
There will be numerous trophies awarded on Sunday at Eldorado Park, including Best of Show, Top Twenty, Participants Pick, Kid's Pick,
and People's Choice. Live auction and drawings throughout the day at Eldorado Park, include Mario Andretti Racing School,
dinners and shows on the Strip. All proceeds to benefit The Lili Claire Foundation,

Since the inaugural event in 2000, Gasoline Alley's Birthday Bash has generated over $129,000 for local children's charities.
Fri-Sun, June 27-29 - Mesquite Open Road Race, Car Rally and Car Show -
Please post your arrangements on the Forum if you wish to meet up with others for Friday and Saturday.
We will also drive out together for the final day of this event taking place on the weekend of June 27-29, 2008.
M.E.C.C.A. - Mesquite Exotic Car Club Affair in Mesquite, Nevada is hosting the event. There is something for everyone: Race, Rally or Car Show.
Sunday offers: 8am - MKM Racing 20 mile Open Road Race
(110mph or faster with safety equipment), 10am - Car Rally for those not wishing to drive that fast, 10am - Exotic Car Show with Dyno tests,
1pm - Lunch Reception at Del Webb's Sun City Golf Course, and 7pm - Poolside Awards Dinner at the
Casablanca Hotel and Casino, 950 W Mesquite Blvd, Mesquite, NV 89027 (702) 346-7529.
For those wishing to stay for more than 1 day, group rates with secure garage parking is available at the
Oasis Resort Hotel & Casino, 897 W Mesquite Blvd.

Racing and Rally participants will make the hour drive out together. Meet at the Iron Skillet Restaurant, I-15 at Speedway Blvd, Exit 54
at 6:45am. Gas up and be ready to leave at 7am for the hour drive to Mesquite. Those wishing to do just the car show can meet us up there.

have graciously opened their home to us for a 4th of July party. Details are in the works !!!
Saturday & Sunday, September 27-28, 2008 is the Fall Colors Tour Featuring Bryce Canyon and Utah's Red Rock Country.
The route has been planned and a dry run has been driven. The roads and the scenery are spectacular.
We depart Saturday September 27, 2008, at 8:00AM, from the parking lot of the "Iron Skillet Restaurant"
near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Saturday night we will stay in Torrey UT. at the "Best Western Capitol Reef Resort."
The resort is holding 10 rooms for the "Las Vegas Porsche Club" the group rate, good until August 20, is $86, including tax.
Make your own reservation by calling them at 435-425-3761. Saturday night we will enjoy a gourmet dinner at the "Diablo Cafe" in Torrey.
On Sunday we there will be time to visit Capitol Reef National Park before we start our return trip to Las Vegas.
